I’m overwhelmed with excitement and gratitude. You can get the album, which is out NOW on Crystalline Morphologies (@crystalline_morphologies) link in the bio. We will also be selling physical and digital copies at the release show tonight.

“REMAINS” is an accumulation of pieces I composed between 2015-2017 that serves as an abstracted dedication to the poetry of a late friend. He always used to ask me to write music to his poetry, and well, I finally did. I dedicate this album to Kyle B.
.
The album artwork was conceived with and photographed by my dear friend, Marisa Martinez (@misadella). The purple that covers me represents Ube, a purple root used in filipino cooking. Being half filipino and half white, I have always been told that I don’t look filipino, so the portrait (and the character you will see in the video) is my way of reconciling that feeling of alienation by reimagining my own body as literally oozing with Ube.

My newest set is an ode to the Bakunawa, a creature from pre-colonial Filipino mythology. The Bakunawa is a moon-eating dragon that is responsible for the lunar eclipse 🌑 Here is a short excerpt of my song to the moon from last night’s show in SLC.
